France’s snap election results for the first-round results are out.
In sum, the RN - Eric Ciotti alliance garnered about 34%, slightly less than suggested by the latest polls,
which reduces the likelihood that they will have an absolute majority. The NFP (about 29%) and
Ensemble (about 22%) came in more or less in line with expectations and the Republicans did show
some resilience (almost 10%)...
